"Beautiful lunch/coffee stop just outside Portree. The brisket toastie was delicious, made with home grown beef, coffee and brownie were perfect. Great views, very relaxing with the cows and calves grazing and waterfall flowing nearby. Highly recommend!"

"This was fabulous, the coos were adorable, we got to take pictures standing next to them and feed them! Andrew went above and beyond to run the coos out early for us! If you’re driving the loop around Skye you will see them. Or just stay at Tor View Bed and Breakfast and you can see them right outside your window."

"If you are in Skye Island, this is a place you must go! Andrew was an amazing host, very welcoming, let us pet the cows and even went out of his way so we could have some more time with them! The whole cafe area is also super lovely! This was our only opportunity to see Highland cows, and honestly, 100% worth it! Thank you so much Andrew, and the coos !"

"After drinking only bitter coffee in the UK, I finally had a real cup of coffee here with a rich, nutty flavor. The toast had a strong kimchi aroma but a surprisingly mild taste—it was absolutely delicious. Watching the stream flow by and the cows grazing in the distance, I thought this might just be the best place on the Isle of Skye."

"I was very impressed with this establishment, the owner, the staff and atmosphere. I thought the coffee and toasties were excellent for a roadside stand. The owner arrived as we were leaving and was kind enough to speak to us about the realities of agriculture on the island. The need to supplement income with multiple sources is required to keep a family Croft financially solvent. When we voiced our mild disappointment with not being able to purchase a meat toastie he patiently explained the logistics, and subsequent expense, of needing to transport his cattle over two hours away for processing for public consumption. This is a new business and I happily paid the prices asked to help support it. The owner is aware that some of his facilities need further development and voiced his intent to do so as he is able. I give this place 5 stars and recommend to anyone with an interest in supporting the locals of Skye."

"We had an early morning that we were trying to visit different sites around Skye, so we decided to drop in for coffees and a couple breakfast treats for our road trip. The location is easy to find on the side of the road and there’s plenty of ample gravel lot parking. The four of us had wonderful coffees, all different varieties, and enjoyed the homemade local treats available. The staff was super friendly and kind, and our orders did not take long at all. Prices were certainly fair. We weren’t expecting to have the pleasure of meeting a couple of Highland Coos during our visit, but it was a welcomed surprise. The views for enjoying your drinks or food here is absolutely stunning, with ample picnic tables to choose from. I wish it had been a little bit later in the day so we could’ve tried their burgers, but we are certain we will be back."
